Sheila's Chicken Marsala

Ingredients

  • 2 7oz. boneless chicken breats
  • Flour for coating
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 package whole mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • Pinch parsley
  • Pasta (to serve on)

  • Large saucepan
  • Pot for pasta

Instructions

  1. Make it
    • Prepare garlic and parsley.
    • Start preparing pasta. (Prepare this at the same time).
    • Toss chicken breasts in flour, covering completely.
    • Heat oil over medium heat - do not burn - in large saucepan before adding the floured chicken breasts.
    • Add the chicken to the oil and cook until lightly colored on both sides.
    • Add the mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes.
    • Season with salt, pepper, garlic and parsley.
    • Pour in the wine and cook on low until sauce thickens.
