Grandma Peterson's Blueberry Muffins

Makes 18-24 muffins.
Neither one of us has a Grandma Peterson. We assume she's some fictional character married to the muffin man.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 pinch of salt

Tools

  • Muffin pan(s)
  • Muffin cups

Instructions

  • Cream together sugar and butter. Add egg.
  • In a separate dish, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add dry mixture to creamed mixture.
  • Gently stir in blueberries.
  • Spoon batter into lined muffin tins. Fill muffin cups completely - mixture will be dry and doesn't rise.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
