Sheila's Special K Bars

It's is kind of like Rice Krispie bars but even better...
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of Karo syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 7 cups of Special K cereal

Tools

  • 9x13 inch pan
  • Small sauce pan

Instructions

  1. Make it
    • Mix syrup and sugar in sauce pan and bring to a boil.
    • Remove from heat and add

      • peanut butter.
    • Mix well; pour over cereal and mix.
    • Spread in a 9x13 pan.
    • Melt 1/2 bag of chocolate chips and a 1/2 bag of butterscotch chips.
    • Pour over top and spread over bars for frosting.
